Meet the Physician
Dr. Weston Welker has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and graduate degree from the University of Alabama. He completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
Dr. Welker completed an internship and residency at Dwight David Eisenhower. He is board certified through the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Welker is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, Baptist Medical and Dental Fellowship, and the International Order of St. Luke. Additionally, Dr. Welker is a Medical Review Officer and medical lecturer. He has been Assistant Professor of Family medicine at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
At the Alabama Family Practice Center, Dr. Welker treats the entire family from infants to the elderly. His comprehensive services include preventative medicine, acute care, in-office surgery, and obesity and cholesterol management.
Dr. Welker and his wife have three grown children.
